New Boardgames: September 2026

You know our family loves a good boardgame. Here are some of our new favorites:

History: Through the Years

This game is great for groups and has no player limit. We played this on my husband’s 50th birthday weekend gathering with about ten people in the cooperative mode. As we all have different interests, it was fun finding out who knew what obscure facts. We had a lot of laughs (and we won!).

Little Endearment:

This game is billed as the family/kid friendly version of Endearment. It is also a nice, fast-paced game that can be played on a weeknight (or with your in-laws on a lazy Sunday afternoon). It was quick to learn and easy to set up.

Marvel Legendary:

My husband got this one for his birthday. He likes games that have a solo mode for nights that I just don’t have the energy, or I am writing late. It is a deck building game but the mechanics keep it from feeling repetitive. Even if you play the same heroes each time, the way the cards fall changes everything. He finds the setup easy and enjoys the fast gameplay. Another easy game for a weeknight!
