I have had a Facebook page for my writing life for well over a decade. It started with sharing my process, my journey as a baby writer and eventually moved into my journey as an author. I have shared my wins, my struggles and my book babies there.
The new Terms of Service that Meta is enforcing on business pages are abhorrent. If their AI makes a mistake, legally it is the customer’s fault. They can troll through any websites I have linked to my pages and scape all my data, including books that I worked hard to write. While they are currently “rethinking” this policy, the writing is on the wall.
Other limits imposed on professional pages have made me—and many other creators—ready for a change.
I will be moving off of Meta effective November 10, 2026. I am restructuring my—much neglected—Patreon page with an improved FREE Tier as well as a $1 Tier. Please consider following me there. My TikTok and Patreon will be my only Social Media accounts for now.
