I will take any excuse to make a sweet treat for my family and with Valentines coming up, I am going to make one of their favorites. Dessert cups.
I love these because they are single serve, easy, and delicious. Plus, they look good enough that people thing you slaved away for hours.
Directions:
- 16 ounces of cream cheese (or vegan cream cheese), softened
- ½ powdered sugar
- 2 cups heavy cream or Country Crock Plant based cream
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

¼ cup sifted cocoa powder and additional ¼ cup powdered sugar
Whip half the sugar into the cream until stiff peaks form.
Set into a bowl.
Whip the cream cheese, the rest of the sugar, cocoa powders and all the vanilla together.
Once the cream cheese mix is soft add the whipped cream in and beat together.
Serving options: layer cheesecake mix between layers of crumbled brownies or cake and whipped cream. This makes a fast and easy dessert. It can also be served on it’s own or topped with whipped cream (or out of the bowl at midnight with your favorite person).
